We had a fantastic stay at a cozy Norwegian cottage in Bjørkum Gard. As five friends, we stayed for one night and were impressed by the comfort and charm of the cottage. Laila, the owner, was incredibly helpful, providing us with all the necessary information and accommodating our request for a late check-in. The location was stunning, surrounded by majestic mountains and a rushing river. The cottage itself was spacious, with two bedrooms and three bathrooms, offering plenty of room for us to relax. it was a wonderful experience, and we definitely plan to return!

Can just recommend this hotel.

I loved the spacious cabin with its terrace and mountain views. Hiking nearby was a blast. Just ignore the lack of towels and communication difficulties on the farm.

Who needs a towel or bathroom mat anyway? And who cares if it's a bit hard to communicate on a working dairy farm?

Upgraded to largest cottage due to heating issues at smaller one booked. Clean, comfortable, spacious, well-equipped cottage by river. Enjoyed stay.

During my recent transit stay in Ljosne, I had the opportunity to experience the comfort of Bjorkum Gard Guest House. As a frequent traveler, I particularly appreciated the convenience of its location. Situated just 45 km away from the nearest airport, it made my journey hassle-free and time-efficient. The proximity of the accommodation to the airport allowed me to relax and unwind after a long day of traveling without having to worry about extended commutes or traffic delays.

Although the rooms were well-appointed and comfortable, I found the curtains/blinds on the windows to be insufficient.

I keep coming back for my stay at this charming place. The staff helped me with local info during my first stay. It has everything I need - free Wi-Fi, parking, TV and more. Perfect for my holiday.

The rooms at Bjorkum Gard are absolutely charming and cozy, with a lovely patio offering stunning views of the garden. As a budget traveler, I felt right at home in the well-equipped kitchen and loved having my own private bathroom with a refreshing shower.

Personally, I found the lack of a hairdryer in the bathroom to be a slight inconvenience. However, I understand that others may not mind this as much and still enjoy their stay.
